Absolute Gold boots!!!

The boots I get from American Boots is superb! I was turned onto them about 10 years ago after having Red Wings and I glad I was turned. Between the personal sizing, to the cistom design, build, and design, I have never had a problem with them. They are the only footwear where I can and have taken them right out the box, wear them for a deployment cycle, (14 days), and not have one foot care issue such as sores or blisters. My last pair have lasted me 3 seasons before showing slight repair issues and they were fixed with no issues. The owner, office assistant, and workers are very personable and treat you as a friend and not a money source. With all the great that comes from interacting with this company and for the price tag, (around $380), I look to but thewir boots until they either close shop, or I retire out of wildland Fire. Anyone who is looking for boots would do good to check American Boots out! Their line even goes beyond wildland fire boots.

Great boots

I bought a pair of these boots 9 years ago to wear on wild fires they broke in relatively quick and are light and durable. I wore them for 7 summers of fire season before they showed signs of a possible blow out so now I just wear them for work wher I don't have to worry about being out on a 14 day assignment where I can't replace them if I needed to. Great boot and I would defiantly recommend them.
